Wonder Woman, a.k.a. Diana Prince, is a famous fictional DC Comics super heroine. She in the daughter of Hippolyte, queen of the Amazons, and was endowed with special gifts and powers as a child. She possesses superhuman strength, the ability to fly, and is trained in all ancient Greek methods of hand to hand combat. Among her tools of the trade, she wields the Lasso of Truth which forces anyone held by it to tell the truth, flies an invisible plane, wears a bullet proof bracelets and her tiara is an indestructible boomerang. She was created as a positive role model for girls - one that redefined “femininity” to include strength, intelligence and independence. Though her role changed through time, in the 1970s Gloria Steinem played a central role in restoring her character to it’s original vision. Wonder Woman has had many manifestations in comics, cartoons and a television show.


Minnie Mouse is one of Walt Disney’s original ficitional characters and leading lady of the Mickey Mouse Universe. She made her film debut alongside her longtime boyfriend Mickey Mouse in 1928 in the black and white “Steamboat Willie” and has been a beloved character at the Disney theme parks every since. Since her debut in 1928, Minnie has appeared in 73 cartoons with Mickey Mouse and their dog Pluto and the 1999-2000 series Mickey Mouse Works finally got to appear in her segments. After many years of work and success she was finally recognized by the Walt Disney theme parks when they declared 1986 Minnie Mouse year.
