I LOVE these new images for Dolce & Gabbana’s Sicilian Lace Makeup collection. If you know me you know 2 things: (1) I am Sicilian; and (2) I love lace. Dolce & Gabbana have created an empire by bringing to life the old school glamour of the Sicilian woman – dressed all in black, lace, crucifixes, bustiers with tousled hair. (The D&G ad campaign featuring Madonna is a good example of that.) Now, they’ve been able to give their cosmetics collection a touch of their signature look. The images accompanying the collection are gorgeous and I love how they added lace touches to the makeup compacts. Look out for the collection in stores this month.
