If you’ve ever watched a commercial for feminine products you’ve probably felt (a) alienated; (b) puzzled; (c) annoyed; or (d) all of the above. The traditional commercials are always pretty ridiculous… they look a little something like this:
So when I started seeing the U by Kotex Ads I started giggling and thought, “It’s about time!” I’m loving these ads. I like how they poke fun at other ads and are a bit more real and down to earth. I also really like the packaging. They’re bringing a bit of “edge” to the feminine products market with their black/bright colors. A welcome refresher from the baby pinks and powder blues.
Bravo to Kotex. Now if only every other product aimed at women would take note…
