It’s an especially melancholy Sunday as I’m just coming back from a brief, but very relaxing, Summer vacation and I don’t want to go back to work tomorrow. The thought of playing catch up, listeing to all the voice mail and reading all the email makes me long for the days of the 3 month long summer vacations we had as a kid.
Speaking of being a kid, at least I had the chance to revisit my youth on this trip with a day at Disneyland - truly the happiest place on earth. How could you not be happy going on rides and snacking on sweets all day?

Los Angeles has some great architecture and we had the chance to hit up some of our favorite spots so Ali (OHW2007) could take some photos. We also had the chance to relax and hit the beach in Santa Monica. And, we had one great meal after another - from Roscoe’s to Bottega Louie to the Homegirl Cafe and Shaherzad, I think we came back to SF a few pounds heavier. The vacation was short and sweet and I can’t wait to go back to LA - I think I’d prefer living there - I’m kinda over the weather in SF. Until then, I’ll have to prepare myself for a busy day tomorrow.
